Hospital Equipment

Hospital Equipment is an artistic and humanitarian project that reflects on the fundamental human right to life. First, an installation of medical hospital equipment is exhibited as an artwork. When the exhibition ends, the hospital equipment is donated to a hospital in a conflict zone where it will be used by doctors and patients. Article 3 of the UN’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights states that “Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person.” Hospital Equipment takes this right seriously and suggests that art has the power to help improve health infrastructure, while also drawing attention to the need for medical care for all.

Frececo Fonden supports SUPERFLEX’s installation of ”Hospital Equipment”, followed by the donation of the hospital equipment to a conflict zone.
