Læs for Livet

Læs for Livet uses books as a tool to create social change for vulnerable children and young people in Denmark. Læs for Livet collects books and transforms them into carefully curated libraries, which are then donated to institutions such as out-of-home institutions, crisis centers and youth detention centers. Their mission is to spark a love for reading - giving these children not just access to books, but also a sense of belonging, calm, and inspiration – ultimately helping them navigate life's challenges with greater resilience and confidence.

Frececo Fonden supports these efforts through a three-year core grant.
